Every cell, not just the pack

A battery rarely fails all at once — one cell drifts away from the rest, months ahead. The cell charts are built to show that early, while it is still cheap.

It keeps the history

Five-second detail for a week, then minute and quarter-hour summaries going back a year. Download any of it as a spreadsheet.

Nothing to open up

The logger calls out to us over an encrypted connection. Nothing on your home network is exposed and nothing can reach into it.

Which batteries

Sunsynk and other PACE batteries

One cable to the master battery. The logger reads the whole daisy-chained stack through it — up to eight batteries on one logger.

Sunsynk L5.3

Read over its CAN bus, with every cell and probe the battery reports. A chain of L5.3s reads as one bank through the master.

JBD and Xiaoxiang batteries

Read over Bluetooth, so there is no cable at all. Up to three batteries per logger, and they do not have to be related to each other.

Prefer to keep it in-house? Point the logger at your own MQTT broker instead and it publishes straight to Home Assistant. Ask us for the notes.

Setting one up

  1. 1. Connect the logger — a cable for Sunsynk, nothing for JBD.
  2. 2. Join its Wi-Fi from your phone and pick your home network.
  3. 3. Type the claim code from the label.
  4. 4. Sign in at your own address and watch it arrive.
